Paddle Board Program: Our new Stand Up Paddle Board Program features amazing new boats that allow our chanichim to enjoy the agam under the supervision of our highly trained staff!

Biking Program for Younger Campers: Our younger chanichim can now have fun during our Outdoor Adventure Program on new bikes made just for them! We’re so excited to introduce this new outdoor fitness activity!

New Renovated Hockey Court: Playing on the hockey court with new friends is the best way to spend an afternoon at camp! Our hockey court has been completed renovated to match state-of-the-art court standards.

Waterfront (Agam)

Located on beautiful Skeleton Lake, our waterfront (Agam) activities include waterskiing, wakeboarding, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, daily swim instruction and more. Our waterfront staff are fully certified and well-trained to ensure a safe and fun experience for all of our campers. We also have an Aquaglide Summit Waterslide and Trampoline on our agam! The Aquaglide (named R.U.P.E.R.T), features climbing, sliding, bouncing and monkey bar activities. Together with several sailboats, these water toys are part of an Agam Enhancement Program sponsored by Ab and Phyllis Flatt in honour of Harold and Carole Wolfe’s “special” birthdays. Arts (Amanut)

Camp Ramah is home to a vibrant arts program, where campers are able to express their creativity through guided instruction in dance, theatre, photography, cooking, music, woodworking and arts & crafts. Within our Arts studio, we offer skilled instruction in popular activities such as painting, tie-dying, and jewellery making, as well as a robust ceramics program, where campers are taught to use our pottery wheels to create projects that are useful, artistic and fun. Whether they’re baking bourekas in bishul, making some earrings for mom or building a birdhouse in our woodworking shop, our arts staff are fully trained to bring our campers’ creativity to life. Click here to watch a video about amanut!

Sport & Outdoor Adventure

Hockey, tennis, softball, basketball, hiking, and biking are some of the many sports we offer. This year we are presenting our renovated hockey court! Our staff is passionate about teaching the fundamentals of sports and creating a positive environment that makes it fun and inviting for each camper to participate, regardless of their skill level or ability. We also offer an exciting Outdoor Adventure (Etgar) program led by certified wilderness specialists. Younger campers gain important skills on camp-outs at Ramah Island, while older campers take part in more challenging camping trips, exploring some of the most incredible surroundings the beautiful Muskoka region has to offer. We also have a new biking program for younger campers for summer 2017! Click here to watch a video about our sport program, and click here to watch a video about our etgar program!

Jewish Values

Experiential Jewish Education is a big part of who we are. Campers learn Hebrew through the contagious enthusiasm of singing together as a camp, grow spiritually through experiencing beautiful tefillot (prayers) on the beach, and gain an appreciation and love for Israel through our passionate and talented Mishlachat (Israeli staff). Jewish learning and living are seamless, fun, and exciting for campers at all levels. Shabbat at Ramah has a particularly special quality to it, as campers and staff are actively involved in creating meaningful weekly Shabbat experiences.
