REGL will take place at Camp Ho Mita Koda in Newbury, OH (45 minutes outside of Beachwood, OH)

For rising 2nd – 5th graders, the dates are August 2-9th, 2023.

Of course. Once you apply to REGL (through the Ramah Canada application), you will be asked if you want to apply for scholarships. You will then be sent to the UJA Toronto scholarship portal, and your application will be reviewed by an anonymous committee.

Because REGL will be fairly conveniently located to most of our US cities, we are assuming that many families will want to drive. However, we will be providing transportation for $100 per camper.

Yes, there are payment plans. Once you apply you will be contacted by someone in our office to set this up. Keep in mind, the earlier you apply to camp, the longer time you will have for a plan.

Of course! Reach out to Nessa at [email protected] to learn more.

We are hoping to have about fifty campers this summer, and to grow each summer following.

Here are some of our reasons why enrolling your children now makes a difference to us all.

PARTNERSHIP

Enrolling early is an investment in camp. It allows us to anticipate enrollment numbers and income so we can plan for a super summer, maintain our year-round team, hire exceptional staff early in the fall season before other opportunities open up for them, and plan programming and materials better. Help us have the best summer ever – enroll now!

From the camp’s perspective, enrolling early is the most important way that you can be our partner in ensuring a strong Kayitz 2023. Thank you!

PLANNING

The earlier you register, the longer you will have to pay and, therefore the lower your monthly payment will be. REGL fees need to be paid in full by March 31st, so enrolling now will make a real difference.

Even if you can’t start making payments right away, we want you to know that we are here to work with you and create a plan that reflects your circumstance.

PEACE OF MIND

Not only does enrolling early check a box off of your to-do list, but it allows you to secure your child’s spot for Kayitz 2023. While we are planning to operate at full capacity, we are aware that for safety reasons or by province mandate, it could be necessary to have a smaller number of campers per session.

Enrolling for camp takes some uncertainty out of this uncertain time. It’s simply good for the soul for you and your child to have something to look forward to and to focus on a summer together rather than the one we missed.

Easy! You can go to https://campramah.com/ and click on “Register Now.” You will register through Ramah Canada, and select “Ramah Eastern Great Lakes” when asked which session you would like to attend.

Once your application is complete, Nessa will be in touch about next steps.

REGL is Camp Ramah in Canada’s junior camp for our US communities. Campers can choose to go to REGL, RC or both any given summer they are eligible age wise. The way we picture it, youngest campers can begin their overnight experience a bit closer to home at REGL, and then graduate on to Ramah Canada.

Yes. You will receive a full refund if camp is cancelled due to COVID.

This is something that can be a bit different for each individual camper. We have an incredible team at Ramah Canada excited to chat about your camper, and to help understand what is the best option for them at camp. Please reach out to Naomi Dzaldov, our Camper Care and Intake Coordinator, [email protected] to discuss further.

If you have any other questions, or want to talk further about anything related to camp, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Nessa, Director of Ramah Eastern Great Lakes.
