PARTNERSHIP

Enrolling early is an investment in camp. It allows us to anticipate enrollment numbers and income so we can plan for a super summer, maintain our year-round team, hire exceptional staff early in the fall season before other opportunities open up for them, and plan programming and materials better. Help us have the best summer ever – enroll now! From the camp’s perspective, enrolling early is the most important way that you can be our partner in ensuring a strong Kayitz 2023. Thank you!

PLANNING

The earlier you register, the longer you will have to pay and, therefore the lower your monthly payment will be. Camp fees need to be paid in full by February 28, so enrolling now will make a real difference.

Even if you can’t start making payments right away, we want you to know that we are here to work with you and create a plan that reflects your circumstances.

PEACE OF MIND

Not only does enrolling early check a box off of your to-do list, but it allows you to secure your child’s spot for Kayitz 2024, ensuring your child has a great summer experience to look forward to![/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”WHY HAVE YOU ADDED A NEW SECURITY LEVY?” tab_id=”1608612842452-4741ba4e-10cb”][vc_column_text]Recently we have focused on improving security. We will continue to make this a priority and going forward this will include improvements to our camera coverage, gates and fencing, and coordination with local law enforcement. As with most Jewish organizations, we feel strongly that these improvements are necessary and will continue for the foreseeable future. They also come with significant costs and we are asking our families to help us make continued investment in this vital area.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”WILL RAMAH BE OFFERING PROGRAMS DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR ?” tab_id=”1608612842472-7b049a13-59a6″][vc_column_text]One of our guiding principles this year is קהילה/community. To that end, keeping our community connected during the school year through programming is essential and we will definitely be offering virtual programming starting in the fall. We plan to partner with our families, community rabbis, and schools to see how Camp Ramah can best support our chanichim (campers) and keep the Ramah spirit strong. As we do every fall, we will offer our SNL (Saturday Night Live) programming, that will offer fun games and activities for our current and future campers. Stay tuned for more information about our year-round programming.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”SIGN ME UP! [/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”WILL YOU BE OFFERING VISITORS’ DAY IN 2024?” tab_id=”WILL-YOU-BE-OFFERING-VISITORS-DAY”][vc_column_text]Yes! Visitor’s Day will be Sunday, July 21 from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Stay tuned for more details![/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”HOW WILL I KNOW WHETHER MY CHILD WILL BE READY FOR A SLEEP-AWAY EXPERIENCE?” tab_id=”READY-FOR-A-SLEEP-AWAY-EXPERIENCE”][vc_column_text]

Camp readiness is an important consideration in any summer and we know you may be wondering whether your child is ready for a first experience, or ready to make the shift from two to four weeks away. Even when we can’t rely on practice sleep-overs or overnight school trips as indicators, there are many other ways to assess how your child might adjust to a camp setting based on current information. Please reach out to Naomi Dzaldov, our Camper Care and Intake Coordinator, to arrange to speak about how to make the best determination for your child for Kayitz (summer) 2022.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”HOW IS CAMP PREPARING TO TAKE CARE OF KIDS’ SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS?” tab_id=”CAMP-PREPARING-TO-MEET-THE-SOCIAL-AND-EMOTIONAL”][vc_column_text]Each summer, our staff prepare to acclimate first-time campers to the experience of being away from home and to support kids in making new friends and in leaving behind the digital world. They guide children and teens in their efforts to try out new skills as they stretch beyond their comfort zone. While we know that our campers have experienced disruption to their lives in countless ways, we are confident that the camp setting remains a place where kids can relax and have fun, connect with friends, explore Judaism, and feel a sense of belonging. We know that providing an environment of warmth and structure is very important for our campers. We have an exceptional team of camper care professionals who will continue the work of meeting campers where they are at and partnering with both staff and parents to support a successful session at camp.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]
