Get to know Jennie!

What do you do for Camp Ramah?

I am the director of Tikvah at Camp Ramah which is a program at camp for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

What did you do when you’re not working at camp?

When I am not at camp I work as a middle school teacher. My classroom is composed of 6th-8th graders with moderate to severe autism. In addition I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is…

…that the only thing you can control in life is how you treat you others and the way you act.

The most magical thing about Camp Ramah are the bonds created and the friendships that last well beyond your summers as a camper.
