At Camp Ramah in Canada, we understand that entrusting us with your child is a significant responsibility, and we take this duty to heart. Our primary goal is to provide a nurturing and safe environment where every camper feels valued and cared for.
We are dedicated to supporting the diverse needs of our campers, families, and staff. We emphasize the importance of Mental, Emotional, Social, and Spiritual Health (MESSH) and are committed to fostering a thoughtful, inclusive, and supportive community. Our approach ensures that we address these needs thoughtfully, helping everyone in our community thrive. We work closely with parents and guardians to set up each camper for a successful and fulfilling camp experience.
Our Yoatzot (advisors) are essential members of our camper care team. These skilled staff members, with backgrounds in child development and care, are here to support a wide range of needs. Your Yoetzet will be your primary contact for sharing information, asking questions, and addressing concerns. You will receive your child’s Yoetzet’s contact information in early June.
We pride ourselves on a high staff-to-camper ratio, ensuring personalized attention for each child. Our team includes primary counselors, many of whom are former campers who return year after year, and Shlichim – young Israeli emissaries who bring Hebrew and Israeli culture to camp. Together, they create a vibrant and enriching environment for your child.
