Scholarships

At Camp Ramah in Canada, we feel strongly that the Ramah experience should be accessible to every family who wants to be a part of our community. We have a generous scholarship program and raise a significant amount of money each year in order to accommodate as many scholarship requests as possible.

We strive to make our financial assistance process simple, smooth, and responsive to you.  Thanks to our ongoing partnership with UJA Federation, once again, we will continue to use UJA’s Community Scholarships secure online portal for ALL Summer 2025 financial assistance applications.

The Scholarship portal IS NOW OPEN.

To be considered for scholarship, please submit your application as soon as possible but no later than Thursday, February 13. Our hope is to fulfill as many scholarship requests as we can; however, it’s important to recognize that scholarships are awarded based on financial need rather than on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are committed to helping as many families as we can. The need for financial assistance is greater than ever. Please consider the following resources to supplement your camp scholarship:

    1. Your synagogue
    2. Your local Federation, if outside Toronto
    3. Kids in Camp https://kidsincamp.com/ (applications available beginning in mid-November) for residents of Ontario with a gross household income of $85,000 or less
    4. Jewish Free Loan Toronto https://jewishfreeloan.ca/
