We do our best to see that every camper who makes a request gets at least one of their choices. However, bunk requests are not guaranteed.
Update re: COVID-19
Due to the current pandemic, it is important to note that all accepted registrations are inherently, and now expressly, conditional, upon the camp being operational during the upcoming summer camping season. Due to the unpredictability of COVID-19’s impact, our capacity, session availability, and dates remain subject to change.
In the event that COVID-19 related impacts result in the camp being unable to operate during the camping season, or if camp operations must be modified such that the dates, session availability, capacity or programming are materially impacted, or any part thereof, due to COVID-19, related impediments, legislative restriction or other circumstances beyond the Camp’s reasonable control, the Camp will provide notice of cancellation of registration and/or proposed alternative session opportunities to you at your email address as soon as is practicable.
If Camp is cancelled due to COVID-19 or if your child cannot attend Camp due to travel restrictions, then you will receive a full refund up to June 1st. After June 1st, refunds will be calculated based on funds available after expenses.
If Camp needs to change the dates for your child’s session materially, you will be given options to change your enrollment or you will receive a full refund.
Cancellation Policy: All requests for withdrawal must be made in writing, including the date of the request and the reason for withdrawal. All deposits are fully refundable, until March 1, 2023. Any withdrawal requests after March 1 will result in a forfeiture of tuition, including the deposit and any unpaid portions of tuition. Withdrawal for personal health emergencies prior to the start of camp will result in a full refund, less the $1,000 administrative fee.
No tuition refund will be made for voluntary withdrawals after the start of camp. If a camper leaves at the camp’s request, tuition may be forfeited or prorated on a per diem basis, at the discretion of the Director, plus a $1,000 administrative fee.
Wellness Policy: All children attending Camp Ramah are required to submit a completed medical form. As well, all children attending Camp Ramah must be up-to-date in their immunizations, as determined by the provincial schedule. This includes routine childhood immunizations and may include other immunizations. Please see the forms and documents section of your CampInTouch portal for the list of required immunizations. Camp Ramah in Canada reserves the right to make requests and changes related to Provincial and Federal guidelines related to COVID-19 requirements.
Drugs and Alcohol: The use of drugs and the consumption of alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited at camp. Any campers or staff members found in possession or under the influence of legal or illegal drugs or alcoholic beverages will be subject to immediate dismissal from camp.
Cigarette Smoking: Camp Ramah is a smoke-free environment. Campers and staff are not permitted to smoke cigarettes at any time or any place during their stay at camp.
All campers and staff members are responsible for maintaining the beauty and physical condition of camp. Any vandalism or destruction of camp property by campers will result in damages being assessed and charged to the camper’s family. There will be a minimum standard charge of $100.00 per incident each time graffiti is placed in any public place, including on a new building or a recently painted or re-paneled wall.
The use of our Camp Ramah in Canada name or logo is not allowed without written permission.
